The Canadian Corps of Voyageurs began in 1975, when John Robertson decided Thunder Bay needed a proper black-powder reenactment group.

Photos of this years Great Rendezvous at Fort William Historic Park 2026. We have our newest member Sophie daughter of Hanna.
Company was excellent, food was great, and we won the Food contest for the third year in a row.

I want to thank the members of the corps who participated in the Canada Day celebrations at Fort William Historic Park.

Lois, Tia, Erica, Jeff, Thomas, Rick and myself were firing non stop for most of the day. 355 rounds fired plus flints, pins sold.

We want to thank Menowaywin and Rick for helping set up.

My buddy Willie has too much time on his hands for the last photo.

June 20th 2026, Fix and Mend. Well it was thunder storms and raining, so the corps did what we do best, sit around and talk and eat.
But we have out new t-shirts for the 50th anniversary.

Our 50th Anniversary dinner was a great success, we had 46 in attendance.
The food was delicious, the company excellent, and everyone enjoyed the evening.
Presentations of Seringapatam medals were made out to Lois Foster, Karen Merkley, Steve Jollineau, Rick Garrick and Thomas Momot.
Increase in rank was given out to Alex Hay to Lance Corporal and John Momot to Corporal.
We also were presented a Letter from the Governor General of Canada and the Premier of Ontario.
Thank you for all who attended.

It is sad for me to announce that retired member of the Canadian Corps, Mick Bull passed yesterday morning. He was a guiding hand for Alex Hay, and we mourn Alex's loss.
