Throwback Thursday. Summer Teams have all gone home but the summer started with a Saturday training session back in June at Portico Community Church in Mississauga. Teams from across the GTA came together to learn about what it means to serve those in our community in Thunder Bay. We're so grateful for all who attended and all who followed that up with service.

Nancy is a Cooking for Life (C4L) participant and she had a chance to share in front of 400 people earlier this week about what this program has meant to her. Here she is standing next to the chief, Jeremy Pearson at the United Way of Thunder Bay Better is Possible event. has been a wonderful partner as we reach out to our community and we were honoured to have Nancy make a presentation on our behalf.
The need is great in our community, but so are the many organizations that are putting themselves out there lending a hand up.
