Thunder Bay Literacy Group We provide free education to adults in areas of Math, English, trades exam prep, test taking, and computer upgrading.

All of our programming is free, private, and confidential. For anyone who isn’t quite sure what we do here at TBLG, here is a summary of who we are and what we offer! The Thunder Bay Literacy Group operates a free and confidential Adult Learning Centre, where we welcome and support adults in Thunder Bay who wish to improve their basic reading, writing, math and computer skills in a self-directed m

anner. We help adults get the skills they need to meet their goals, and instruction is geared to fit the goals of each learner. Learners get one-to-one instruction as they work independently in a classroom setting. We offer the following classes free, full-time and part-time:
-Computers
-Math
-English
-G.E.D
-Small Group
-Trades & Exam Support

We also offer One-to-One Tutoring.

On June 11th, our Literacy Lifesavers team will be stranded out at the Thunder Bay Main Lighthouse as part of Way of Thunder Bay's Great Lighthouse Rescue! 🌊 Why? At Thunder Bay Literacy Group we help people build the skills they need for employment, further schooling, or everyday living, all for free! When you donate to our team of castaways, you help us change people's lives! ❤️
