UPDATE: REGISTRATION IS FULL, WAITLIST AVAILABLE ON DAY FOR DROP INS

Escape the heat, unwind with friends, and recharge.

As Northern Ontario wildfires and evacuations continue affecting families, taking time to rest and reset is essential. Join us for a free community movie night to relax, eat popcorn, and connect in a safe, stress-free space.

🧠 The Brain Fact: Binge-watching or playing competitive games can overstimulate the nervous system. Immersive, visual storytelling in a relaxed group setting does the opposite. It helps lower cortisol (stress hormones), reduces anxiety from displacement, and triggers healthy dopamine through shared laughs and emotional connection.

🚨 CALENDAR UPDATE FOR TONIGHT 🚨

Due to unforeseen circumstances, tonight’s scheduled Drum Social at Evergreen Park has been cancelled.

Additionally, the youth program group is heading out for the rescheduled Wacky's trip tonight. We know not everyone is able to make it there, and we don't want anyone left out. The Youth Centre doors will remain OPEN as usual for a cozy alternative hang-out.

Starting at 5 PM we'll have Puzzles & Pizza available for drop in participants. 🍕🧩

Escape the screens, quiet the noise, and connect with community. With the stress of the wildfires and displacement affecting so many families right now, taking care of your mental well-being matters. Join us for a free, safe space to relax, eat some pizza, and discover healthy ways to unwind outside of gaming and gambling.

🧠 The Brain Fact: Gaming and gambling trap your mind in an unpredictable loop of chasing rewards, which can spike your anxiety. Puzzles do the opposite. They lower stress hormones, stop racing thoughts, and release healthy dopamine by giving your brain a satisfying sense of calm, focus, and control when the world feels overwhelming.

Doors open at 6:00 PM, where guests can enjoy food, meet the staff and Youth Council of ENAGB, and participate in our silent auction. Introductions begin at 7:00 PM, followed by performances and entertainment continuing until 10:00 PM.
