Dear TBMFA, Families, Coaches, and Community Members,
After much consideration, I have decided to step down from my role as President of TBMFA. I have been involved with this league for 15 years, and it has been a significant part of my life.
Although I had planned to complete one final year in the role, I believe it is the right time to step aside and let the next group lead. Our board is strong, committed, and passionate about the future of football in Thunder Bay, and I have full confidence that TBMFA will continue to grow and move forward.
I’ve had the privilege of watching this league grow, seeing kids start in our youngest programs and develop into confident young athletes and leaders. I’ve seen coaches give up evenings and weekends, parents step up without asking, and volunteers carry the load when it mattered most. That’s what TBMFA really is about.
While I am stepping away from this role, I will always care deeply about this league and the people in it. TBMFA means something to me, and it always will. I look forward to watching it continue to grow in the years ahead.
Thank you to the coaches, volunteers, families, and the athletes who have made this league what it is.
It’s been an honour and privilege to serve this league and community.
Sincerely,
Rob Thibodeau
