On behalf of the Master Gardeners of Ontario (MGOI), Thunder Bay and District Master Gardener Coordinator Andrea Steinhaeusser recently recognized three of our members for their achievements ~ In May Gordon Ward, who has been a Master Gardener sharing his horticultural knowledge with our community for over 30 years was presented with his 30-year pin and Laura Jones who recently completed the required horticulture courses and volunteer hours to become a Master Gardener was presented with her well-deserved MGOI certification. In June Theresa Love who has been a Master Gardener sharing her horticulture knowledge in both Thunder Bay and Mine Centre for over five years was presented with her 5-year pin. All three are dedicated Master Gardeners and we thank them for the many hours and time spent sharing their knowledge with gardeners in our communities. Congratulations!
