Jackson earned himself $500 towards his hockey registration and a hockey bag.

Team Officials, Support Staff, On-Ice Officials, and Third-Party Instructors are reminded to complete their required screening for the upcoming season.

Please review the graphic carefully to determine what is required for your situation:
• New Individuals = New VSC + Declaration Required
• 2023 VSC or older = New VSC + Declaration Required
• 2024/2025 VSC = Declaration Only

Hockey Northwestern Ontario is proud to recognize Tyler Miller, Head Coach of the U11 AA Fort Frances Canadians , as our 2025/2026 Coach of the Year!

Tyler was nominated for the impact he has made on young athletes in Fort Frances, building confidence, fostering growth and teaching values that extend well beyond the rink.

His commitment to local player development also led him to establish the Jr. Lakers spring hockey program, which has grown from a single division into a multi-division program in just three years, creating more opportunities for young players to develop, compete and build friendships close to home.

His impact was summed up best in his nomination:

“His players are not only better athletes because of him, but they are also happier, more confident kids.”

Congratulations, Tyler, on being named the 2025/2026 HNO Coach of the Year, and thank you for your continued dedication to developing young athletes and creating positive hockey experiences in Northwestern Ontario!
