Lakehead Archers Our not-for-profit organization has both indoor and outdoor ranges, open to members and non-members.

Closed holidays and from Victoria Day through Labour Day weekend annually.

Looking for something active, fun, and a little different for your young archer? Come join us at Lakehead Archers Youth Nights!

⏰ 5:45–7:30 PM
🚀 Starting October 8

Whether they’re brand new to archery or already love sending arrows downrange, Youth Nights are a great chance to practice, have fun, and build their skills!

💰 Non-members: $15 — includes equipment rental (or $12 if you have your own equipment)
🎯 Paper targets: $1 each

💵 Please note: We accept cash or e-transfer only.

Attention Members: we currently have many members who have not renewed and have not returned their key. This is a gentle reminder that if you don’t renew, your key is due by September 30 in order to get a refund of your $50 deposit. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit of your deposit as well as the ineligibility of a pro-rated fee amount if you decide to renew at a later date. In addition, if we have to change the locks due to the number of outstanding keys, those who haven’t returned them will not be eligible for a new key.

Please reach out if you have any questions. The club will be open this Sunday from 2-4 pm and Monday 7-9 pm if you need to return your key and get your deposit refunded.

Great news! Our club hours will be starting up with Sundays from 2-4 pm and Mondays from 7-9 pm beginning on September 27. As other days/times are added, we will post here as well.

‼️ Thinking of getting more involved in Lakehead Archers? Would you like to help make some changes? Then why not run for an Executive or Board of Directors position! We are currently accepting nominations for the following:
- Vice President
- Secretary/Treasurer
- Membership Chair
- Junior Development Chair
- Fundraising Chair
- Bowhunter Advisor
- one spot on the Board of Directors

The Executive are responsible for the day—to-day business including events, memberships, equipment purchase and upkeep, etc. The Board is responsible for overseeing the long-term interests of the Club including the property and assets.

Executive earn volunteer hours for the membership discount.

(note that Joe Dampier still has one year remaining in his position as President which is a 2-year term)

We are also in need of someone to take over the Maintenance Membership. This member gets a free membership in exchange for weekly cleaning and general maintenance including tasks like taking garbage to the club, sweeping floors, cleaning and restocking the washrooms, cutting grass in the summer, etc.

Please let us know if you’re interested in any of these positions. You must be a current member in good standing. Nominations will close on Friday, September 25.
