Willow Springs invites you to shop at an Artful Estate Sale featuring a large selection of handmade stained glass lamps, panels, fused glass pieces, and blown glass balls. We had a wonderful time feeding the good Olde Folks at the Medieval Faire this holiday weekend. Thanks to Roxanna, Dawn, and Karen for their cooking, baking, hard work and kind customer service. Such amazing costumes, music, jousting competitions, and the Artisan Village was spectacular! People of all ages enjoyed themselves.

We hope you can take the beautiful autumnal drive out to the Medieval Faire in Hymers this Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm each day. We will be serving up some delicious soup and bread at the Crooked Broom Inn! We will also have bbqed sausage on a stick, apple, blueberry and meat hand pies, pumpkin tarts, apple c***r and sparkling local grape juice.
The soups we are offering are: Squash with Apple, Potato Leek with Ham, Beef Barley, Lentil and Hearty Vegetable.

What a spectacular day in the garden yesterday. As we wrap up this growing season, we welcomed folks in the Simpson St. Community Garden neighbourhood to have lunch with us. We served up vegetable soup made with the garden's veggies, wild rice cranberry and pesto breads, hot apple c***r made with apples from the garden, and carrot muffins with cream cheese icing.
The sun was warm, the bees were happy, folks sat and chatted and shared stories.
Special thanks to Norwest Community Health Centres for their ongoing support of the garden, to Rob, the land owner, who believes in community development, to Willow Springs' garden crew who worked hard to grow food throughout the season and to everyone in the Simpson area who donated plants, time and good wishes to the garden! See you next year.

Once again, our wooded path is filled with incredible clay spirit faces after the 1st year Rec Therapy students from Confederation College came for a visit. Gardening, Art and Food Making, Willow Springs' 3 main activities, filled the afternoon with learning, creating, eating, harvesting and fun.

What a grand gathering of magical folks at our final Market! Lovely young student vendors added to the fun and beautiful artisans' work was for sale. The 3 Broom Sticks Pub was hopping as potions were mixed, and willow wands were woven. Successful Treasurer Hunters solved the riddles and followed the clues, and to top it all off, what can we say about Zoë's incredible Jalapeño Cheddar bagels. Absolutely the best!
