Prostate Cancer Canada - Thunder Bay provides support to prostate cancer survivors and their families; provides awareness presentations to it's members and the community on early detection and treatment of prostate cancer; has facilitated the establishment and continues to provide support, of prostate cancer support groups throughout Northwestern Ontario; and raises funds for prostate cancer research.
PCCN-Thunder Bay (Thunder Bay Prostate Cancer Support Group) meets at 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month at the 55+ Centre, 700 River Street, Thunder Bay, ON. Meetings are open to men and women interested in receiving information on prostate cancer, its detection, treatment and follow-up.
