Join us this Labour Day, September 7, at events across Ontario as we fight to reverse cuts to public services and protect the services working people and communities rely on.

This Labour Day, we’re sending a clear message: invest in public services, defend workers’ rights, and put working people first.

Working people must come first in Canada’s tariff response.

US tariffs are putting Canadian jobs, industries and communities at risk. Working people cannot be left to pay the price.

Federal and provincial governments need to do more than protect corporate bottom lines. They must protect jobs, strengthen income supports, invest in Canadian industries and communities, and make sure public dollars come with real commitments to workers.

And at a time when people may need EI, income supports and other public programs more than ever, governments cannot keep cutting the very public services workers and communities rely on.

You cannot protect working people from economic uncertainty while cutting the public services they depend on.
