We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Mitch Treichler.
Mitch dedicated more than 45 years to the electrical industry, building not only a respected business but also a legacy of integrity, craftsmanship, and service to our community. His contributions to the trade and the countless lives he touched will not be forgotten.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mitch Treichler on June 25, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Throughout his journey, Mitch remained remarkably positive, facing every challenge with determination, strength, and the stubborn resilience that everyone who knew him had come to expect. He fought as hard as he could until the very end.
For more than 45 years, Mitch dedicated himself to the electrical trade. As the proud owner of Park Electric, he built a business that earned the trust of countless homeowners, businesses, and contractors through honest workmanship, reliability, and genuine care for every customer. What began as a dream grew into a lasting legacy - one built with determination, skill, and pride. Through every challenge and every success, he remained steadfast, believing that a person's word was their bond and that quality should never be compromised. His work illuminated more than homes and buildings; it touched the lives of the people and communities he served throughout his career.
Mitch knew that a great business wasn't built by one person alone and always attributed Park Electric’s ongoing success to his hardworking crew over the years. Over the past year, he was especially honoured by the way his employees stepped up to rally around him and support him throughout his battle with cancer. He held the deepest respect for all of his employees, who became an important part of that legacy. Knowing the business would continue in their capable hands, carrying forward the values, workmanship, and dedication that defined Park Electric, brought him great comfort and pride.
Beyond his profession, Mitch will be remembered for his unwavering loyalty, generous spirit, and strength of character. He was always willing to lend a hand to those in need and found peace away from work at the camp he built with his own hands, where he enjoyed tending to his gardens and spending time outdoors. His legacy lives on not only in the business he built, but in the countless lives he influenced, the people he helped, and the family and friends who loved him.
He leaves behind family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing him, who will deeply miss his presence and forever cherish their memories of him.
Though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the many years we shared with Mitch and for the lasting impact he made on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
