🔥 What a night at the Fall Brawl! 🔥
Friday night was packed with high-energy action, insane rallies, and incredible competition across both our Challenger and Premier divisions!

Several matches were deadlocked 2–2 after doubles play, forcing a high-stakes Dream Breaker to decide the winner, it was electric for both players and spectators!

- Challenger: Double Elimination Style Draw with a seeding pool (teams are guaranteed 4 games)
- Premier Division: Double Round Robin that leads to seeding for the playoffs

Saturday is going to be electric as we work out way to the finals!

As the Thunder Bay Pickleball Club continues to grow, so does the demand for more places to play.

One of the strongest messages from our recent member focus groups was clear: members want to know where help is needed and how they can get involved. Today, we're excited to share one of our biggest opportunities to do just that.

Help Us Create More Places to Play

Every new school gym, community facility, and recreation space we secure means more court time, more programs, and more opportunities for members to enjoy the sport we love.

But these opportunities only happen when volunteers step forward to help.

Community Use Event Supervisors Needed

Our Community Use Event Supervisors are the key to opening doors throughout the city. They help set up, oversee sessions, and ensure our partner facilities have a positive experience working with our Club.

Without volunteer supervisors, several of our upcoming community programs may be delayed or unable to proceed.

The response to our first Team Challenge event of the season exceeded all expectations! The energy, competition, sportsmanship, team spirit, cheering, costumes, food, and FUN created an atmosphere that had everyone talking. ❤️

📣 Attention Pickleball Ladies 📣

The Thunder Bay Pickleball Club's 🍂 Fall Ladies League 🍂 will be returning on September 17th at the TbayPC Clubhouse! We hope that you are excited for eight weeks of fun competition!

💰 Registration will be $50 per player first come first serve
💸 Spares will be charged $5 per session attended

📆 Registration for both players and spares will open on Court Reserve on September 3rd at noon.

There will be a maximum of 48 player spots available.

On game day, games will be played to 11, win by 2. We will use regular scoring.

Please try to make each session! If you know you will miss more than two sessions in the 8 week period we encourage you to register as a spare rather than a player.

We hope to see many familiar and new faces this September! See you all on the courts soon!

What an honour! Today we’re cheering on Florina Simona Ofelia Paduraru, who has been selected by Pickleball Canada to represent Team Manitoba in Singles at the Provincial competition! 🇨🇦

We are so proud to see a Thunder Bay player representing Manitoba, and we wish Florina the very best of luck today. Go out there, have fun and enjoy every minute of this incredible experience!

We are ready to kick off fall with some pickleball, competition, food and FUN!

📍 Thunder Bay Pickleball Club

FORMAT: MLP-style team competition - teams of 4 players — 🚹🚹2 males + 🚺🚺2 females.
