We have a member Representing Manitoba!

What an honour! Today we’re cheering on Florina Simona Ofelia Paduraru, who has been selected by Pickleball Canada to represent Team Manitoba in Singles at the Provincial competition! 🇨🇦

We are so proud to see a Thunder Bay player representing Manitoba, and we wish Florina the very best of luck today. Go out there, have fun and enjoy every minute of this incredible experience!

A quick note for transparency: TBPC is happy to support and cheer on ALL Thunder Bay athletes participating in the competition. However, as a club we can only post/share individual athlete updates and represent athletes publicly when we have their permission and authorization to do so.

FALL KICKOFF Team Challenge!
We are ready to kick off fall with some pickleball, competition, food and FUN!

📍 Thunder Bay Pickleball Club
📅 Friday, September 11 | 5:30–8:30 PM
📅 Saturday, September 12 | 9:30 AM–5:30 PM
💰 $30 per player
🍕 Food provided!

FORMAT: MLP-style team competition - teams of 4 players — 🚹🚹2 males + 🚺🚺2 females.

Each team match includes:
🚺🚺Women’s Doubles
🚹🚹Men’s Doubles
🚺🚹Mixed Doubles
🚺🚹Mixed Doubles
Regular games are played to 11, win by 2, using traditional pickleball scoring.
🔥 TIED 2–2? DREAMBREAKER!
If the match is tied 2–2, it’s time for the Dreambreaker!
The Dreambreaker is singles, with players rotating on and off the court. It uses rally scoring, and the first team to 21 wins — no win by 2!

Don’t know MLP-style play? Don’t worry! We’ll explain everything before play starts. It’s easy once you see it in action!

Have a team?
Your team captain registers the team and makes sure you have a team name. Each player is $30.

No team?
No problem! Join the Free Agent Poolthrough the registration link and we’ll help get you onto a team.

👉 Registration is through CourtReserve.
We know we’re getting this out a little late, so please register as soon as possible! Official game times will be provided so you are not at the club all day on Saturday.

Grab your teammates, come up with your best team name and get ready for a fun fall showdown!

Great news... the clubhouse is officially back open! 🎉

Thank you all for your patience and understanding while the CLE was taking place.

A few important reminders:

🚧 Northern Avenue is currently the only access point open. Please use Northern Avenue to enter the grounds.

🚧 The CLE team is still in the process of dismantling equipment and infrastructure, so please use extra caution as you make your way to the club.

🚧 May Street access remains closed at this time. Please pay attention to gates, barricades, and any posted signage. Depending on the setup on any given day, you may have access through both club entrances, but always proceed carefully when navigating the area.
