The Habit Coffee & Bakeshop is the main source of funding for our volunteer run shelter.
The cafe is manned by volunteers who produce some of the finest coffee concoctions created in Thunder Bay.
Alongside these are a fabulous array of fresh baked pastries (by talented volunteers) which will tempt any palette.
Please come by and enjoy the offering, you will enjoy your time here, you will support our shelter and meal program (which is, guess what, produced by volunteers).

Take a seat, and let me tell you about our caramel buddies. There are the dark chocolate covered cardamom and coffee caramels. We used the Eastside roast for them .. and they’re high maintenance. They’re much happier when they’re kept cool, so they live in the fridge, and you gotta ASK for them. 🥶Then there’s brown butter and grey salt caramels. Grey salt is hand harvested on the shores of France using wooden rakes! Imagine how much better it makes the caramel taste. Or see for yourself!
