FALL IS IN THE AIR!! We have lots of decor to celebrate this season, harvest and Thanksgiving. Come in and see all we have in store for you.

We have also put out some of our winter coats, toques, mitts and scarves.
Don’t let the cooler weather catch you unprepared.
Don’t forget from September 14-30, we are only open Mondays from 11-3pm and Thursday evenings 7-9 pm.
WE ARE CLOSED THURSDAY, OCTOBER 1 DAYTIME AND EVENING.

Our donation shed has a large sign stating what we don’t take as a donation.
This is what was in our shed late afternoon Thursday. All very large, heavy items that were almost impossible to move.
The decision was made to no longer accept any furniture of any kind. The big orange sign was put up on Friday. The last picture shows what was left in our shed when checked early Saturday afternoon. All items were broken and the mattress stained.
This has been an ongoing problem which has forced us to no longer take any furniture of any kind as a donation. This means couches, chairs, entertainment units, bookcases, tables, beds and mattresses, and anything else that resembles furniture.
Please find your own suitable place for your furniture. Swap & Buy, Marketplace, Habitat for Humanity, other thrift stores, your curb for free, or the landfill are all great options for you to choose.
Please allow us to keep offering clean, useable, quality items at our store.

We have been getting a lot of donations that are not suitable for resale. To help you make better donation decisions, please find listed below acceptable and unacceptable items. Help us keep a great quality, second hand retail store.

ACCEPTABLE ITEMS:
- reasonably clean foot ware, clothing, linens that are not dirty, smokey, torn, stained or have broken zippers
- small appliances and electronics that are clean and in working condition
- toys that are reasonably clean and not missing most of the pieces
- games, puzzles, & books that are intact
- kitchen dishes, pots and household items that are not chipped or all scratched
- decor items & collectibles that are not broken or repaired
- sports equipment in good, used condition,
- tools
- pictures and frames
- linens in good condition (no stains or rips)
UNACCEPTABLE DONATIONS:
- we no longer take any furniture of any kind
- absolutely no exercise equipment
- no printers, old computers
- we do not take AT ALL, any OLD, LARGE, RIPPED upholstered furniture, large entertainment units, large, heavy tables, chairs or beds and mattresses
- do not donate appliances or electrical items that do not work or have parts missing. Our customers want to purchase intact, useable items
- no home renovation items ( light fixtures, sinks, toilets, cupboards)
These items you can take to Habitat for Humanity.
- It makes it very difficult for other donators to leave their items when the shed has large items in it.

DO NOT LEAVE ANY ITEMS THAT YOU SHOULD BE TAKING TO THE LANDFILL!!

Please be kind to our volunteers. That means no smoke filled items or those items left in sheds infested with mice or other rodents.
We value our customers and want to provide quality items for them at a reasonable price.

The Tilly will be closed for holidays June 25-July 9. We will re-open for business Monday, July 13, 11-3 p.m.
WE CANNOT TAKE ANY DONATIONS DURING THIS TIME.
Our donation shed will be locked until July 10th.
