Wild and domestic sheep and goats should not overlap in Alberta.

If you see a domestic sheep or goat in a mountain goat or bighorn sheep area, or see a bighorn sheep or mountain goat outside its normal range, please report it.

Reporting these situations helps protect Alberta’s wild bighorn sheep and mountain goat populations and allows authorities to assess the risk and respond appropriately.

Hosted by Leduc County, in partnership with the Alberta Goat Association and New Humble Community School, this interactive workshop combines classroom learning with hands-on training for goat, sheep, and alpaca producers.
