CUPE 1287 CUPE 1287 is a composite local, representing workers in 11 units at workplaces throughout the Niagara Region.

CUPE members are doing important work, providing vital public services around the clock for the community. CUPE 1287 represents more than 1,200 dedicated workers in Niagara Region. Since 1970, our diverse membership has served the community by providing vital public services
in sectors such as administrative/technical services, community services, environmental services, transportation services, m

ental health services, criminal justice services, humane treatment of animal services, food banks, museums, and more. We are committed to protecting the rights of our members and advocating for safe working conditions, fair wages, and strong communities. Our union stands in solidarity with all workers, striving to make the workplace better for everyone. Together, we are building a stronger, more equitable future for Niagara.
