And just like that, Summer Camp 2026 is a wrap!

Last week, we celebrated the end of seven fun-filled weeks with our End Party & Potluck! Good food, games, laughs, raffle prizes, and lots of happy memories made the afternoon extra special.

A big thank-you to our amazing Summer Camp workers and team for all the time, patience, energy, and care you put into making each day fun for our campers.

And to our campers, parents, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners, thank you for being part of our summer and for all the support along the way. We truly couldn’t have done it without you!

A special thank-you to Domino’s for generously providing the delicious pizza and to Safeway for the wonderful gift card. Your generosity helped make our End Party extra special, and we truly appreciate your support of our campers and summer program!

We also wanted to give thanks to our generous MODE Curated Experience for the wonderful stage decoration. Thank you so much!

Culturama Thompson is coming!

We’re bringing our community together to celebrate the cultures, traditions, food, music, and talents that make Thompson so special!

We’re still looking for performers, volunteers, and people who would love to cook and share a traditional dish from their culture. Whether you want to perform, showcase your talent, prepare a favourite cultural dish, volunteer, or simply come dressed in your traditional attire, there’s a place for everyone!

Don’t forget to join our 50/50 Raffle, in collaboration with the Thompson Seniors Community Resource Council! Every ticket is another chance to win while supporting this wonderful community celebration.
