Today, we join so many others in mourning the loss of a true legend in the chuckwagon world.

Wayne was more than a competitor, he was one of a kind. He will be remembered for his love of the sport, the stories he shared, the friendships he built, and the lasting impact he made on everyone who knew him.

His legacy in chuckwagon racing will not be forgotten. The memories, the miles, and the moments he gave to this sport will live on for years to come.

From all of us at the Opasquia Agricultural Society, we extend our deepest condolences to all of Wayne’s family, friends, fellow competitors, and the entire chuckwagon community.

Rest easy, Wayne. You will be deeply missed, and your legacy will ride on.

It is with profound sadness that we make this post. The world lost one of the very best cowboys today.

🐂 WHAT A WEEKEND TO REMEMBER! 🐂

It was truly an honour for the Opasquia Agricultural Society to welcome Bull Riders Canada Inc. & CS Bucking Bulls and your entire TEAM to The Pas for an incredible weekend of rodeo action.

To every rider who travelled the miles to compete in our arena, THANK YOU!. Your talent, determination and passion for the sport brought so much excitement to our grounds and gave our crowd a weekend they won’t soon forget.

We are so proud to have had the opportunity to host you and be one stop along the rodeo road.

As you travel on to all of your next events, we’ll be cheering you on from The Pas and wishing you safe travels, great rides and continued success throughout the season.
