EASTER EGG HUNT IS ON!

Deadline for registration is March 31, 2026
There are two hunts, one at 9:30 and the second at 10:15
We ask that you please register your children to ensure that we have enough for everyone.
Bring along a basket or bag for collecting the eggs.
New this year – Teddy Bear Drive – If you are able please bring a new teddy bear (tags still attached; small to medium-sized, approx. 8–16 inches; no battery-operated features; (no removable plastic eyes or nose pieces for safety) for donation to emergency responders and local hospitals.

Important update on the volunteer appreciation brunch that was scheduled for this Saturday, March 14.

Please note that the event has been cancelled for unforeseen circumstances.
In lieu of, we would like to invite the volunteers from last year to our April 14 dinner meeting. 7 pm to approx 8:45
This is also an opportunity for community members who might be interested in joining the club to attend and learn more about the goings- on of the optimist club.

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to former Thorndale Optimist Club President, Bill Tipping, who passed away on the 26th of December. Bill was our club's President for many years and was a tireless supporter of the community. He was a big man with a big heart who loved Thorndale and the Optimist Club. Bill was a perfect example of how Optimism can make a difference in the community. We will miss you, Bill.
