Twenty five years of Dragfest! Wow! Time has sure flown by! We have been involved in many roles over the years. Our boys were so young when we started, we would dress them in their brightest t-shirts and give then cobra radios to keep track of them. Both boys learned to drive out there. Ours driving the magnum and the Wiejak boys driving the 300, with instruction not to hit the other family's car. Troy could barely see over the dash! As they grew older, they volunteered too. We watch Troy race his 1st gen diesel at this track and have Cody return to assist the fire departments. We watch racers evolve over the years. Warched second generations get into racing. It really is amazing!Chez and I have made so many great race friends at the track and a life time of wonderful memories. We hope the tradition continues and the memories grow! Congratulations to all the hard working car club members, who continue to give it their all to make Dragfest happen. I think the race gods tested you this year with all the hiccups, but the sun shone, and you kept on trucking to make the event a success! Sorry if we didn't get to visit in the evenings but the heat kicked our ass! Congratulations to all the winners and see you next year!
