This year, NOSH Chief Executive Officer Adam Brown will take on an exhausting endurance test: 24 continuous hours of golfing to raise critical funds and awareness for the North Shore Harvest Food Cupboard (NSHFC). The round-the-clock event kicks off at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, September 1, and concludes at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, September 2.
"Food security is fundamentally tied to the overall health and well-being of our region," said Adam Brown, CEO of NOSH. "Taking on 24 hours on the course is a small effort compared to the daily challenges faced by families experiencing food insecurity in our communities. We are calling on our community members, businesses, and health care partners to join us in making this year's challenge our most impactful yet."
Throughout the 24-hour marathon, Adam Brown will be joined by community members and organizations on the course in rotating tee-times to play 9-hole “scramble” rounds, driving donor support and team spirit through the day and night.
To celebrate the conclusion of the challenge and thank community supporters, the NSHFC will host a Community BBQ at the Aguasabon Golf Course on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, beginning at 11:30 AM. Members of the public are warmly invited to attend, cheer on the final holes, and enjoy lunch together in support of a vital community resource.
