The Rotary Club of Windsor-St. Clair has recently donated $1,000 to SWO Gleaners for the purchase of split peas. Funding for this donation came from our ongoing bingo fundraisers at Breakaway Gaming Centre.

In addition, Rotarians along with friends and family have shown up to help out over the past seven years at SWO Gleaners... working on the fresh produce line, cutting potatoes, carrots, peppers, and onions, all destined for the dry soup mix. In 2025, over one million servings of healthy dried soup mix were donated to food banks in Windsor-Essex and throughout Southwestern Ontario.

We are honoured and grateful to be Rotarians making a positive difference in our community, one spoonful at a time.

Happy New Year to all of our page followers! This week, the Rotary Club of Windsor-St. Clair purchased 1,000 pounds of fresh local apples right here in Essex County. George Whaley & Sons in Olinda regularly helps Rotary with fantastic prices. We were able to deliver apples to 21 local agencies in our region.

The need is great, and our Rotary Club of Windsor-St. Clair is blessed with the opportunity to help out. Image: A few of the volunteers at Divine Mercy Food Bank, ready to help their guests with some nutritious, locally sourced fresh produce.

Thanks to all of our donors, bidders, sponsors, volunteers, tech support, and crew. Thanks as well to the kind folks at Banwell Community Church for allowing us to use their space as our studio and base of operations. The 39th Annual Rotary Auction raised a grand total of $40,421! Those funds will do a lot of good in the community. Thank you, Windsor-Essex!
