North Shore Players

North Shore Players Community Theatre in Tatamagouche since 2006 Mission
North Shore Performing Arts Society was created with these goals in mind:

1.

To give area residents who have an interest in theatre and the other performing arts a chance to participate in and contribute to them; to provide an outlet for the existing creative talent in the area - including writers, actors, designers, dancers, musicians, and theatre technicians -and to stimulate and develop new talent.

2. To offer quality live entertainment to the residents of the North Sh

ore, both by producing shows locally and by bringing in performing groups from elsewhere (“North Shore Players present…”).

3. To give the young people of the area a grounding in and an appreciation for the performing arts. In working toward these goals, North Shore Performing Arts Society intends to be as inclusive as possible, offering productions that will appeal to a wide range of tastes and ages and utilizing performers and volunteers of all ages and backgrounds, so that those who are less experienced can benefit from working alongside those with more experience.

On Tuesday, May 27th at 7pm, the talented members of the North Shore Writers group will be reading selections from their work at the Tata Library. There'll be excerpts from novels and nonfiction books and screenplays, plus some poetry and short essays--in short (pun intended), something for just about everyone. Hope to see you there. In the meantime, please share this post!
