🏒 The wait is finally over.

On Friday, July 31, we're inviting the community to join us for the Return of our Rink, celebrating the reopening of the Large Ice after the December explosion.

For months, Town of Taber staff and local contractors put in the work to bring this portion of the Arena back. There were long days, late nights, and countless hours behind the scenes, all driven by one goal: getting our community back on the ice.

When the Town set an internal target of reopening by August 1, we knew it would take an incredible team effort. Thanks to the dedication, skill, and determination of everyone involved, we're proud to say we met that goal.

Now it's your turn.

Before the Verset Hockey Camp begins on August 1, join us as we induct Gerald Beckie and Joe Orban into our brand-new Wall of Fame (trust us, you'll want to see it!), then lace up your skates and be among the first to take to the ice.

Whether you're a player, a parent, or someone who simply knows what this rink means to Taber, we'd love to celebrate this milestone with you.

Thank you to everyone for your patience and support over the past several months. We can't wait to welcome you back to the Large Ice!

Today was a big day for the Kinsmen Club of Claresholm. We were able to hand out our first big check from our annual Sports Raffle. These raffles are what puts money back into our communities. Without the support of everyone we wouldn't be able to help out organizations like Claresholm Minor Baseball to improve their facilities and programs. I was able to present the president of Claresholm Minor Baseball with a check for $10,000 today with the proceeds from our raffles. Thank you again for everyone's support and look for our amazing sports raffle in the fall.
