🇨🇦 Tomorrow marks another D-Day anniversary, and Canada’s role deserves more than a quick mention. About 14,000 Canadians landed at Juno Beach on June 6, 1944, fighting through fear, fire, and impossible pressure to help open the road to liberation in Europe. Many were barely adults. Many never came home. Their courage helped shape the freedom millions enjoy today. Do you think Canadian military history is remembered enough by younger generations?

On the morning of June 6th, 1944, 14,000 Canadian soldiers landed on Juno Beach. By nine that night they had succeeded in pushing farther inland than any other D-Day landing force.

At the Juno Beach Centre our mission is to pay tribute to Canada’s crucial role in the Battle for Normandy and make sure our heroic legacy in the Second World War is preserved for future generations.

You can help us tell that story by becoming a donor today: https://campaign.junobeach.org/give-today

Recently, a member has brought this to our attention and we would love for everyone to participate on our Meat Draw Fridays. R.E.D

Wearing red on Fridays is a nationwide campaign dedicated to showing support for our armed forces. The movement stands for R.E.D.—Remember Everyone Deployed. It serves as a visible, non-political way to honor service members, veterans, and their families.

See you all friday and wear RED.
