Join us for the first-ever Half Moon K Run/Walk Fundraiser at KEC!

Whether you are an avid runner, a casual walker, coming to cheer participants on, or simply looking for a meaningful way to support camp, this event is for you. We invite people of all ages and abilities to spend an afternoon at KEC enjoying community, fresh air, and the beauty of camp.

Every registration helps support the ministry of KEC and the opportunities camp provides for children, youth, and families to experience creativity, fun, outdoor adventure, faith, and belonging.

You read that right! We need volunteers with tools like chain saws, axes, work gloves, and maybe even your flannel to help us safely remove trees that have come down in storms around the property. Together we'll stock the woodpile for summer and KEC will provide a meal in thanks for your efforts. Let us know if you can assist July 2nd or 3rd (or any other day earlier in the week that might work for you). Reach out to [email protected] if you can help.

You read that right! We need volunteers to help cut up fallen trees that have come down in storms or that have been removed for safety reasons. We'll then haul the wood to the woodpile for this season's campfires. Bring your chainsaws and your flannels! We'll provide a meal in thanks for your efforts.
