Here at Pathways Cape Breton, our Social Businesses create meaningful and supported employment opportunities that focus on skill development and building in a person-centered approach to assist individuals prepare for, obtain, and maintain integrated, competitive employment.

Did you know that one of those Social Business lines is Property Maintenance?🌱

Our trained property maintenance crew, working under the direction of a qualified project supervisor, pride themselves on their hard-work to provide the services you require in maintaining both commercial or private properties.

With reasonable rates, liability insurance, WCB coverage, and free estimates, we are fully equipped with the tools necessary to complete a wide range of services including:

- Mowing
- Trimming
- Weeding
- Edging
- Mulching
- Raking/leaf removal
- Yard cleanups
- Dump runs
- Spreading of topsoil/gravel
- Gardening/planting
- Aerating
- Seeding and more..

Hello folks!🌻

With Summer just around the corner and Winter not far behind, whats a better time to get your hands on kindling and/or scrap wood than now?

Whether for a summer🌞 fire on a nice night, a wood stove to keep the winter cold❄️ out, or anything else you may need it for, our dedicated team in the Woodshop is working hard and is ready for you with lots of stock of each!

Kindling - $11 for a full bag or $7 for a half bag
Scrap wood (orange bag) - $6

Hello from Pathways to Employment!

We’re thrilled to share our spring lineup from our Woodshop! Our dedicated team has been busy crafting items like garbage boxes, benches, picnic tables, kindling, scrap wood, washer toss games, and large and small planters. We even do custom orders! Some items—like washer toss games, planters, and garbage boxes—are already in stock and ready to go. Plus, don’t forget our Adirondack chairs!

Our Woodshop isn’t just about great products—it’s about creating opportunities for our community and supporting our participants’ growth.

We’ve been deep in renovations lately and haven’t kept up on social media as much as we’d like—so thanks for your patience! The best way to connect is to drop by in person or give us a call at 902-539-6480. Follow the prompts to reach any of our staff—we’re here and ready to help!
