Blue Jean Jacket Day — Honouring Indigenous Men and Boys
Today, we honour and remember the lives of missing, murdered, and exploited Indigenous men and boys.
Blue Jean Jacket Day, observed on June 6, is a growing grassroots movement that brings awareness to the violence, exploitation, and systemic injustices faced by Indigenous men and boys — a reality that is too often overlooked.
As we continue to advocate for justice, healing, and visibility for Indigenous women, girls, and 2SLGBTQIA+ people, we also lift up the voices of our brothers, sons, nephews, fathers, and uncles — and call for increased supports, funding, and protection for them too.
Let us stand together in love, solidarity, and action.
