Horizon Achievement Centre is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Director of Operations to support the financial, administrative, and organizational functions of our growing non-profit organization.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Operations plays a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the Centre through financial administration, organizational coordination, and support for fundraising, community engagement, and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include financial oversight, payroll administration, budgeting support, grant tracking, supervision of administrative staff, organizational reporting, and contributing to fundraising and promotional activities.
The ideal candidate will have post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field, along with experience in financial administration and organizational operations. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is proficiency with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks. Experience in the non-profit sector is considered an asset.
