We are almost there!! We have been working on this project, a 1x2 classroom block at Sishawe Primary School a very disadvantaged rural school in Bubi Rural District of Zimbabwe! It’s not been an easy journey for our team as we were working with one of the most impoverished communities I have ever seen! The majority live on less than $2 a day! However, we prevailed!

All for The Children:

Schools in Zimbabwe are closing for the December and Christmas holidays on Thursday4th of December. We therefore decided to round up our project by visiting Samaringa Primary School to donate our last soccer kits.

Samaringa is in Honde Valley in Mutasa Rural District of Zimbabwe, that is, in the Eastern Highlands (kumakomoyo). (My now late mom attended this school). Anyway, the uniforms that we gave them were kindly donated to me by the Aurora United Soccer Club in Saskatoon. I therefore wish to thank them for their kindness. With schools taking a break, we will now use this moment to mobilise more resources for the children.

I also wish to take this opportunity to thank all our valued partners for the marvellous support they have always provided to us and wish to seeing continued growth of our relationship.

Yesterday, we donated new soccer uniforms to Honde Mission High School in Mutasa Rural District of Zimbabwe

All for The Children:

Yesterday we visited Honde Mission High School in Honde Valley in Mutasa Rural District of Zimbabwe where we donated some new soccer uniforms to the school. Again, the uniforms were given to me by Shaun, owner of Soccer Locker, a soccer equipment store in Saskatoon here in Canada where I live.

Honde Mission is located very close to legend Japhet Mparutsa’s area. Japhy, as our late football commentator Evans Mambara used to call him remains one of the best goalkeepers in Zimbabwe and on the African continent at large.

That Honde Mission area, Gatsi, Hauna is also home to other Zimbabwean legends Alois Bunjira, Norman Mapeza, Lloyd Chitembwe, et al. Anyway, at the Collin Nyabadza Children’s Voice Charitable Trust (CNCVCT) we will continue to do our best to support our rual schools with sports and educational resources as we have always strongly believed that every child deserves an opportunity and the right environment for them to thrive. This is why we will always be grateful for the lovely support we have always received from friends of the CNCVCT, such as Soccer Locker in Saskatoon.

All for The Children:

Today, we continued with our work helping disadvantaged rural schools in Zimbabwe. For us at the Collin Nyabadza Children’s Voice Charitable Trust (CNCVCT) the welfare of all children comes high in our agenda.

We were at Muterere Primary School in Honde Valley, in Mutasa Rural District in Manicaland Province where we donated some new soccer uniforms to the school. Once again, these lovely uniforms were donated to me by Shaun, the owner of Soccer Locker, a soccer equipment store in Saskatoon here in Canada. We are forever grateful for the marvellous support you have always provided us with in the past five or so years. Thank you so much Shaun!!!

All for The Children:

Today, we continued with our work of reaching out to some of our disadvantaged rural schools. We donated some new soccer uniforms to Holy Cross Manunure Primary School in Honde Valley in Mutasa Rural District of Zimbabwe. The school is run by the Anglican Church (I am an Anglican myself too).

We wish to thank Shaun the owner of Soccer Locker, a soccer equipment store in Saskatoon, Canada for donating the kits to me. He has given us tremendous support in the past five to six years.

Our aim is to continue supporting these children so that get to enjoy taking part in soccer and other sporting activities while nicely, neatly, and appropriately dressed. We want these children to view sport differently. In sport they get to learn so many different skills which they would use later on in their adulthood.

Every child deserves an opportunity to exploit their potentials to the fullest! A child’s socio-economic background should never be used to determine his/her future!!!
