A warm blanket and a comfortable chair can improve patients experience in the hospital. It may seem like a small thing to have an already warm blanket available, or a power chair rather than a manaually operated one, but when undergoing treatment these small things can really impact the experience of patients undergoing treatements.

Merle Walker registered nurse working in the Cypress Regional Hospital was kind enough to thank the the Foundation for the new power chairs and blanket warmers recently purchased for the hospital’s Oncology department.

These purchases wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of our community including individual donors, fundraiser sponors and participants, and volunteers. Thanks for your continued partnership with us to support healthcare Southwest Saskatchewan!
