As the night winds down, I thought I would share some thoughts:

On behalf of the Swan River Valley Agricultural Society, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who came together to make this year’s Northwest Roundup and Exhibition another tremendous success.
To our dedicated volunteers, hardworking organizers, generous sponsors, committed vendors, talented participants, and every single person who attended—thank you.
Your support, enthusiasm, and community spirit are what has kept this tradition alive for over 122 years and stillthriving year after year.
It takes a village to put on an event of this scale, and we are truly grateful for the efforts of everyone involved.
Together, we’ve once again created an event that celebrates our agricultural roots, brings families and friends together, and showcases the best of the Swan River Valley and beyond.
We look forward to seeing you again next year!

Teamwork is everything! I couldn’t be there today due to work commitments and we had an unexpected mechanical issue on the grounds today. I want to thank Kaylee Lowe and all of the volunteers and committee chairs who came together and helped out!

🤩What a kickoff to NWRE 2025! The excitement continues today with fun for the whole family! 🤩

☕Start the day off with a delicious pancake breakfast at the Veteran's Hall from 8:00-10:30 🥞

🤠Our Grandstand show starts @ 1pm with Rodeo, 8 Horse Hitch @ 3pm, Chariots @ 3:30, Heavy Horse Pull @ 5, and Chuckwagon action @ 7🐴

🎠Midway 🎡, 💐Exhibits 🐮, and 🍦Food Booths🍔 open @ noon -
🍺Beer Gardens🍻 @ 1pm

Congratulations to our very own Wayne Antichow.
Today, during our opening ceremony, Wayne was surprised with a King Charles III Coronation medal. The medal was presented by Dan Mazier, Manitoba MP.
The medal was created to mark the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla and is awarded to nominated individuals who have made significant contributions to their community.
