It’s time to vote! ✅

We received nominations for so many local community groups and organizations. Thank you for sharing the groups that make a difference in our communities!

After tallying the nominations and reactions, we’ve narrowed it down to the top 12. Now it’s your turn to help choose the winners.

The nominees are listed in the comments. Cast your vote on October 13 and 14 by liking the groups you’d like to see win.

The top six groups will each receive a $500 Co-op Gift Card. Winners will be announced later this week!

2nd Ave Minitonas.

This cat has been hanging around ALOTTT and having a brawl in the window with my cats. Friendly with my kids. Meowing alot. Its been weeks. Did not see a tattoo. I think its a female. Maybe on the young side. Is it owned? Dumped? Caught a ride to town?

This is Spider-Man (Spidey for short). He escaped from my dad’s on 9th Avenue North while my dad was going out last night and hasn’t been seen since. He does have an ear tattoo that can be verified. Please contact my dad Remi if found at 1-204-679-6204. Thank you! Or they can contact me (Elana) at 1-204-939-3025

For everybody that was asking where they can drop off donations: we got proper signage back up on our donation bin at the Swan Valley Co-op! It's right by the door on your way out, beside the SV Food Bank bin. Thank you to the Co-op for having this bin for us for so many years! They carry many items we need on a day-to-day basis, feel free to drop in non-perishable cat and dog food, and supplies as well as cleaning supplies. We need these items on a daily basis and are grateful for your support! Please share to get the word out!

If you have an extra bin at your business, and sell pet products, let us know if you're interested in having a purchase and drop off point at your location!
