BIG PURRS AND HOWLS to FORMO MOTORS LTD and Ford Motor Company for Sponsoring us for their Drive For Your Community Event last weekend!

We had 135 people come out and sign up for a test drive, bringing in $4050 to the shelter! Big paws up to everyone who came out and supported this event! Thank you, thank you! 🐾❤😻🐶🐾

And another big thank you to Maggie's BBQ for being on site and donating back a portion of their sales to us as well! Please support these great local businesses!

🚨🐾🚨FROM TODAY UNTIL JUNE 1st!🚨🐾🚨

THE THREE SISTERS ARE FEATURED FOR OUR 1-2-3 SALE!

Date of Birth: March 17, 2024.

All are INDOOR ONLY! Their mom (SPROUT) was late in her pregnancy when she was picked up as a stray and had a litter of 6 within a couple of days of being in her foster home. These girls have never been outdoors other than on a catio.

Any of these girls would do well in a quieter home with NO dogs. They are all fantastic companion cats that just want to lounge by a window and watch all the action outside. :)

RADISH: The most VOCAL of all three and the SMALLEST! This girl would LOVE to be an ONLY cat or with either of her siblings. She will let everyone around her know that she isn't a fan of meeting new cats.

MANGO: Fairly laid back and will get used to other cats but it does take more than a couple of days for her to adjust. She is the most playful girl and has beautiful eye colouring!

SWEETPEA: This girl has an adorable round, chubby cheeks face. She counts on her sisters to protect her. She comes around to "new" faster than her sisters do and enjoys snuggling with Radish.

Normally our adoption fees for a spayed/neuter cat is $150 but until Monday, June 1st you can adopt any of these three for HALF PRICE ($75)!

If interested you FIRST must fill out an online application from our website (svapl.ca)!

A gentle reminder that we don't call back all applicants and only contact those that are approved. This doesn't necessarily mean that you aren't a good home for a pet! This may mean that you aren't the right home for THIS pet (ie. You have dogs and the cat you want HATES dogs). 🐾🙃

Oh man. It doesn't get any better than this. Our big guy. Our senior boy. Cyrus has been with us for FOUR long years. He's been passed over many times because he's a big guy, and because he was almost a senior when we got him. Cyrus is 11 years old now and we were almost sure he would never get adopted due to his size and age. But there was a special guy. Cyrus's guy. The same guy that's been fostering him for two years. THIS guy decided that Cyrus needed a permanent place. That he shouldn't go anywhere else. That he was exactly where he needed to be. CYRUS, now called RUSS, is STAYING with his special foster guy FOREVER! Yup, doesn't get any better than that 🐾😍

Come on out this Saturday, May 23 to the Swan Valley Co-op Gas Bar ⛽ 9am - 2pm! RAIN 🌧️ ☔ OR SHINE 🌞 🐾

Here's the deal! Ford and Formo Motors are graciously hosting a Drive for you Community Test Drive Event with support for the SVAPL 💙. No sales pressure. It doesn't matter if you're a Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Lamborghini, Jetski person: This is about fundraising for the animals!

All you have to do: Show up with your valid driver's licence! Take a very short test drive (5 mins or less) in a brand new Ford! Fill out a short questionnaire! SVAPL will earn back $30 per registered test drive! If we can get the maximum 200 test drives in, we will earn $6000! One person per household. Pre-registering using the scan code on this poster is encouraged!

Help us get the word out about this event! Please share. Jessie Genaille will be here, playing tunes to entertain the crowd. Maggie's BBQ Food Truck will be on site serving all of your favorite food!
