Due to the ongoing flooding situation in the Swan River Valley, we have made the decision to send our staff home today (June 8th) to be with their families and ensure the safety of our team.

For those landowners who who have not picked up their tree orders, we understand that this may be an inconvenience. Please contact the office to make arrangements or email Linaya at [email protected].

We would like to extend our thanks to the emergency crews and first responders who have been working around the clock to respond to the flooding and support those affected.

Our thoughts are with all residents, businesses, and families impacted by the flooding. Please stay safe.

As of last week we have begun our surface water monitoring sites for phosphorus loading for the year!

Don't be alarmed when seeing one of our staff members at one of six sampling sites located within the Watershed.

Always great partnering with the Lake Winnipeg Foundation on their Community Based Monitoring Network.

Thank you to the producers and farmers who came out for yesterday's Producer Workshop, despite the gloomy weather! We hope you learned lots about current and new programming (PWCP, GROW & others).

Huge thank you to the Swan Valley Co-op Agro crew, Gary Grose and Grant Howse for also coming to talk with the producers looking for equipment, tools and more! Your knowledge and expertise were appreciated.

Well with this most recent snowfall event, it looks like we will have to wait a little longer for spring to arrive.
