❤️ Thank You, Little Spirits Strong Roots Families! 🌱

A big thank you to all the parents who brought their little ones out to our very first Little Spirits Strong Roots program this morning! 🧡

We had such a wonderful time making bannock, creating turkey crafts, learning a new Michif word, and sending every family home with supplies to continue the fun at home!

It was so lovely to see our families come together to learn, create, and share special moments with their little ones. We look forward to many more mornings of learning, laughter, and cultural connections! 🪶❤️

Elbert Chartrand Friendship Centre will be closed on Monday, October 12, for Thanksgiving Day.

We will reopen to regular hours on Tuesday, October 13th from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Thank you to everyone who helped throughout the week in preparation for Ms. Joan Ledoux’s funeral services.

Joan was brought home to Camperville and laid to rest on Saturday, October 3, 2026, surrounded by the people she loved.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Camperville, Duck Bay, Swan River and Minitonas Locals, Philomene Chartrand School, Elbert Chartrand Friendship Centre, Camperville Family Resource Centre, and everyone who came together to support Joan’s family, celebrate her life and honour the incredible legacy she leaves behind as she made her final journey home.
