🧶 We had the pleasure of meeting with DeafBlind Ontario Services and viewing their beautiful yarn bombing display at The Link, just outside the Georgina Chamber of Commerce office!

June is National Deafblind Awareness Month in Canada, a time to raise awareness, celebrate the achievements and contributions of people who are deafblind, and recognize the importance of accessibility and inclusion.

This colourful yarn bombing project was created by people who are deafblind, intervenors, family members, and supporters as part of Deafblind International’s worldwide yarn bombing awareness movement.

Learn more about Yarn Bombing here:

💙 Thank you to the DeafBlind Ontario Services team for sharing this meaningful display with our community. Be sure to keep an eye out for other displays located throughout Georgina!

Last Friday afternoon, Jennifer and Michelle attended the 2026 Rural Summit at The ROC Chalet right here in Georgina!

The theme, “Enabling Opportunity – Planning for the Future,” focused on preparing rural communities for long-term success. We had the opportunity to hear from the Hon. Lisa Thompson, Minister of Rural Affairs, as well as a great panel discussion on the future of rural Ontario, which included panelist, Mayor Margaret Quirk.

The summit also provided a valuable opportunity to network with representatives from rural communities across the province and discuss how we can continue to support a strong and vibrant future for our local businesses and communities.

🎉 We would like to take the opportunity to welcome our new member, VillageMystic.com!

“As a Mystic, I see cycles, patterns & reasons for lessons. I am able to connect the dots in life. As a Medium I speak with the dead, our Guides and other beings of light. As a Psychic I see both the future and past. I see timelines through sounds, smells and images. And as a Hyper-Sensitive Empath I am able to read the energies of others & feel what they feel. I feel all the frequencies! Plus I am blessed with the constant support of my Guide Peter who is always at my side.

As a Mystic I lead with understanding. I believe that every physical creation has a spiritual meaning and that EVERYTHING is interwoven and connected.

As a Mother of two young, in*******al boys, and as a Q***r woman myself, I lead with love for our differences and appreciation for what makes us each unique and special.

And as someone with three depressions and one nervous breakdown in her past, I lead with motivation and awareness. I teach how to see clarity in your chaos and how to bring your life back into balance.

From an overwhelmed empath, lost in corporate, trapped in a cycle of depression.... to a Spiritual Teacher & empowered Mystic Momma, it has been a journey!

I found my calling, my tools and my supports when I returned to the traditions of my ancestry and to our connection with the Spirit.

I bring forward messages.
It is my passion and it is what makes me shine.

So whether you are looking to connect with a loved one who has crossed over, or wish to further your own Spiritual Practice and gifts, I would be honoured to guide you through the journey.

You are stardust wrapped in skin! Are you ready to see just how bright you can SHINE?!?”

📍The Village Mystic is located at 430 The Queensway South, Suite 14 in Keswick.
