The Atlantic Balloon Fiesta Committee is proudly working with the Town of Sussex, Sussex Fire Department, and our Emergency Measures partners to ensure safety is of top priority and the right steps are being taken to help manage traffic impacts during the Fiesta.

40th annual Atlantic Balloon Fiesta
September 10-13th 2026

We know increased traffic during major events is on the minds of many residents as we continue to adjust to the Maple Avenue bridge closure.

Events will continue as planned, and we are actively preparing to help manage traffic impacts to keep everyone moving safely and efficiently while continuing to welcome the visitors who support our community and local businesses.
