Founded in 2011 by Professor Velia Gonzales, by Professor Roberto Benitez, and Mrs. Patricia Benitez . The Benítez González family’s purpose of forming the group has always been the common good without any political or financial gain. The role of each of them is not by chance as they are prepared and experienced in these positions for many years since they were re
siding in their home country and continued their preparation since 2010 in BC; this has been done to carry out their official volunteering work through different activities in their own group and also activities which have been recognized in Canada. The Benítez Gonzalez family has done volunteering work for 35 years at institutions such as Caritas International, church work with youth and adults, in rural communities and in recent years as Spanish language teachers in the city of Montreal, Quebec. Currently they continue with the same goal, to help protect the environment and support the well-being of the Latin community in the city of Surrey, British Columbia, regardless of creed , race or age. The philosophy of the Surrey Latin Integration Society will always be to see in every group member the human being whom we serve; transmitting our own knowledge and life experiences with who we constantly fraternize. Our mission: all the immigrants together can collaborate through our cultures of origin for the good of this great country, Canada. The Benitez Gonzalez family is deeply grateful to the Canadian authorities at all administrative levels with who they have had to interact, working personnel and the general public.

Fundada en el año 2011 a cargo de la profesora Velia Gonzales, por el profesor Roberto Benítez, y la Se Sra. Patricia Benítez. La finalidad de formar el grupo por parte de la familia Benítez González ha sido siempre el bien común, sin ningún fin político ni lucrativo. La función que desempeñan cada uno de ellos no es obra de la casualidad ya que son personas preparadas y con experiencia en estos cargos desde su país de origen y continuaron su preparación desde el año 2010 en BC, Todo ello con el fin de llevar a cabo su labor de voluntariado oficial mediante actividades propias del grupo y reconocidas en este país de Canadá. La familia Benítez González ha realizado voluntariado desde hace 35 años en instituciones como: Caritas Internacional, labores eclesiales con jóvenes y adultos, en comunidades rurales y en últimos años como profesores del idioma Español en la ciudad de Montreal Quebec. Actualmente continúan con el mismo objetivo, contribuir a cuidar el medio ambiente y apoyar al bienestar de la comunidad latina en la ciudad de Surrey, de la Columbia Británica, sin importar credo, raza ni edad. La filosofía de Surrey Latin Integration Society siempre será ver en cada integrante al ser humano a quien queremos servir; transmitiendo nuestros propios conocimientos y experiencias de vida con quienes fraternizamos constantemente. La meta es: todos los inmigrantes unidos podemos colaborar mediante nuestras culturas de origen en bien de este gran país que es Canadá. La familia Benítez González está profundamente agradecidos con las autoridades Canadienses en todos los niveles administrativos con los que les ha tocado interactuar, personal que en ellos labora y la ciudadanía en general.
