Surrey Sea Lions Summer Swim Club The Surrey Sea Lions is a non-profit swim club focused on promoting and developing amateur swimming Winter Maintenance takes place at a near-by indoor pool.

The Surrey Sea Lions swim club began in 1971 with approximately 60 swimmers. Over the years, the membership has fluctuated between 60-90 swimmers. Our top enrollment was 120 swimmers when the club was swimming out of five pools in various areas of Surrey. In 1983, the club amalgamated to one pool and we now swim at Bear Creek Pool located at 13820 88th Avenue. Our club is a member of BCSSA (Britis

h Columbia Summer Swimming Association). The 60-70 clubs of BCSSA are divided into regions. The Surrey Sea Lions are a part of the Fraser South Region, which consists of seven other clubs, Boundary Bay, Cloverdale, Crescent Beach, Ladner, North Delta, Richmond and White Rock. The club offers children the opportunity to develop their skills, complete in local, regional and provincial swim meets, make new friends, and have fun! The Sea Lions Swim Club is a member of the BC Summer Swimming Association (BCSSA) and our club consists of 71 swimmers ages ranging from 4-18. Our non profit club goal or mandate is to promote and develop the skill of swimming for the youth of Surrey in a fun, family setting and we are proud of this contribution we make to the local community. Each year, the club is proud to send its finest swimmers to compete in the Provincial Championships in August. The costs associated with swimming tend to be high and our club prides itself on the ability to keep fees affordable for all families with none of this being possible without the generous support of our sponsors and, of course, the local community.

🥇In the spirit of the OLYMPICS, we present you the amazing Surrey Sea Lions Summer Swim Club

The Surrey SEA Lions are champions on and off the pool! 🏊‍♂️

Their annual swim meet was a huge success, with swimmers from all over the Lower Mainland competing in July. But that's not all! The team collected a whopping 76 pounds of food donations, plus additional monetary donations for the Surrey Food Bank making this initiative a splashing achievement.

We're so proud of their commitment to giving back to the community! Thank you for teaching these young athletes the importance of the Food Bank for many families.
