Giving back extends well beyond the communities we serve!

Our off-duty and alumni Surrey Fire Fighters’ Charitable Society members were proud to participate alongside our friends from the Delta Fire Fighters in the 2nd Annual Pickleball Charity Challenge!

As firefighters, we share more than a profession. We share a commitment to supporting charitable causes and strengthening the communities around us.

The SFFCS was also proud to sponsor this event, supporting three incredible charitable partners: HeadsUpGuys, Make-A-Wish BC, and the BC Lions Alumni Development Fund.

A special thank you to the BC Lions Alumni for hosting us and bringing everyone together for a great day of friendly competition and community giving. Congratulations to the Delta Fire Fighters on taking home the win! 👏

In addition to the significant support provided to students through the Surrey Fire Fighters’ Nutritional Snack Program last week, our School Essentials Program was proud to donate 100 laptops to students at Princess Margaret Secondary and the North Surrey Learning Centre.

This donation was made possible thanks to the generosity of a donor who wishes to remain anonymous, along with the strong partnership between ReuseTech BC and the Surrey Fire Fighters’ Charitable Society.

Access to technology is an essential part of education, and these laptops will help ensure more Surrey students have the tools they need to learn, connect and succeed.

Another example of our members, donors and community partners working together to support students across Surrey.

10,000+ volunteer hours every year — and much of it happens behind the scenes.

Hosting several major events each year takes countless hours of planning, organizing, setup, teardown and everything in between.

This photo from Ignite a Dream captures something we’re incredibly proud of — our members giving their time, working together and doing what it takes to make these events possible.

More than 10,000 volunteer hours each year, all in support of the Surrey Fire Fighters’ Charitable Society and the community we’re proud to serve.

It takes a lot of hands to make an impact.

The Surrey Fire Fighters’ Charitable Society is proud to support Arts Umbrella and the important programs they provide for young people in Surrey.

This year, we were pleased to provide a $2,000 donation to help support their work and create more opportunities for youth to experience the arts, build confidence and express their creativity.

This support is made possible through the incredible fundraising efforts of our members and the continued generosity of our community.

Thank you to everyone who supports the SFFCS and helps us continue investing in programs making a difference across Surrey.
