A huge thank you to Phantom Dart Crew Events for hosting an incredible community fundraiser today at Clayton Hills Golf Course & The Backyard Golf!

Kids had the chance to take on Surrey Fire Fighters in a series of Nerf battles, with families coming out to enjoy an afternoon of friendly competition, food, face painting, a bouncy castle and plenty of flying foam darts.

Events like this don’t happen without a community behind them. Thank you to Phantom Dart Crew and all of the businesses, partners, volunteers and supporters who stepped up to make today possible.

Every dollar raised today will support the SFFCS Nutritional Snack Program, helping provide nutritious food to more than 7,500 children and youth who rely on the program throughout each school year.

So, who won the battle today?

The 7,500 kids we support each school year.

This is a great example of what a third-party fundraiser can accomplish when people come together behind a cause.

Interested in hosting a third-party event in support of the Surrey Fire Fighters’ Charitable Society? Shoot us a message — we’d love to hear your idea.

The Book Corner has been open for just over a week at Guildford Town Centre, and the response from the community has been tremendous.

With books moving quickly, the shelves were freshly restocked yesterday with plenty of new options to check out.

More than 1,000 value-priced books are available, with 100% of proceeds supporting the Surrey Fire Fighters’ Charitable Society and helping us continue investing back into our community.

If you’re in the area, stop by The Book Corner, browse the shelves and help support a great cause.

Open until September 20.

The Surrey Fire Fighters’ Charitable Society was proud to provide a $2,500 donation in support of the West Coast Kids Cancer Foundation’s Surrey City Camp this summer.

City Camp gives children impacted by childhood cancer and blood disorders, along with their siblings, the opportunity to connect, have fun, build friendships and simply enjoy being kids.

We’re proud to support programs that create meaningful experiences for children and families right here in Surrey.

A little time in the kitchen can go a long way.

Today, our members spent some time at the Ronald McDonald House Family Room at Surrey Memorial Hospital, preparing some homemade food and treats for families staying close to their children while they receive care.

It’s a space the SFFCS has been proud to support for many years, and opportunities like this allow our members to contribute in a different way—by simply giving their time.

Thank you to the incredible team at the Family Room for everything you do for families in our community.
