DSBC is a not for profit society that operates a public forum www.dualsportbc.com and Public Facebook Group for off road motorcycling DualSportBC.com

DSBC is an Online "local" community. There are great "world" sites like ADVRider and Horizons Unlimited, but they have trouble covering the local or regional off road riding scene very well. DSBC since its inception concentrated on local and regional riding in the province of British Columbia. It was also set up so BC riders could follow BC riders wherever they were in the world. DSBC started way back in 2002 by Tom Timmerman and Ted Blow both members of the Greater Vancouver Motorcycle Club with an Phone and email list. Just a couple of guys looking to increase the gene pool of dual sport riders to ride with. Then DSBC moved to MSN forums and after a short year there DSBC started its own forum in October 2004. Today DSBC is as big as it gets as far as off road motorcycle forums can be in British Columbia and we continue to grow. DSBC is FREE to all those that want to use the site, we do however ask for your support by purchasing a BCORMA Trail Pass, Volunteering your time, Contributing content to the DSBC forum

Something I was thinking about but did not mention during the DSBC Spring Ride.

It has been 12 years since DSBC, along with the other groups listed on this plaque posted at the Tamihi Staging Area. This is where some of your membership money, along with countless DSBC volunteer hours, go into supporting.

DSBC Spring (Newbie) Ride Update April 6 2026

The Trail Gnomes have done it, they have put in 100s of volunteer work hours to get the trails ready for the April 19th Ride. Despite all the logging, massive windstorms, and torrential rainfalls, there is also the standard winter trail damage. More than 50 km of trails for the Dual Sport Route and the Hard Options have been cleared, massive trees cut, and bridges repaired.

Now our final call for some volunteers to "arrow" the routes. this coming weekend, April 11 and or 12. If you can help out, please post here. It's EZ work, just carry a stapler and post arrows on trees. You also get to preride the loops. We will also need a couple of volunteers for the day off the ride for "sweep riders." So it would be beneficial for any sweep riders to join in this weekend
