The SBCCI AI Upskilling Project offers three advanced career paths for high-readiness participants, and we want to make sure our community knows about all of them.

• Digital Health Tech: Health informatics and AI in healthcare, delivered by BCIT (8 weeks) or UBC (15 weeks).

• Data and AI Applications: Data analytics, machine learning, and applied AI, delivered by BrainStation (8 weeks).

• Digital Innovation & Creative Tech: Digital product management, UX design, and digital strategy, delivered by the Centre for Digital Media (8 weeks).

Facebook: Facebook Are you a Black professional in BC, Alberta, or Ontario looking to build practical AI skills?

Applications are open for the SBCCI AI Upskilling Project, a fully funded online AI training program led by the Black Women's Business Network.

This program may be right for you if you:
• Identify as a Black professional in BC, Alberta, or Ontario
• Are ready to build new skills and credentials
• Can commit to 3 months of fully online learning

No prior AI or tech experience required. Priority spaces are reserved for women, newcomers to Canada, persons with disabilities, 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, francophone minorities, and low-income and rural residents.

The Malawian Association of BC is proud to announce this partnership with the Black Women Business Network (BWBN) in supporting the Fully Funded AI Upskilling Program for Black professionals in BC, Alberta, and Ontario. We look forward to empowering our community through education, innovation, networking, and career development opportunities in the growing AI and technology space.

The Black Women Business Network (BWBN) is launching the SBCCI AI Upskilling Project, a fully funded AI training program for Black professionals in BC, Alberta, and Ontario.

Participants will gain foundational AI skills, job-readiness support, a certificate, and a pathway into a technical bootcamp delivered by BCIT, UBC, BrainStation, and the Centre for Digital Media.

No prior experience in AI or technology is required.
