Muslim Food Bank and Community Services Society has two divisions. The Food Bank division includes the Food Bank Operations which provides food hampers that are catered to specific dietary needs (vegan and religious dietary restrictions), Refugee Support Program and Table Spread – feeding the homeless in Downtown Eastside in Vancouver - muslimfoodbank.com. Refugee Support Program has several initi

atives including providing Welcome baskets (food hampers), Toileteries bags and baby items to all newly arrived refugees. The program also coordinates the provision of clothing, blankets, school supplies, furniture, cellphone sim cards, computers, accompaniments and translation services to help the newly arrived refugees to settle down. The programs under the ASPIRE Community Services division are ASPIRE Case Management, ASPIRE Training Institute (Capacity Building), Youth Support for Substance Use and Mental Health, Safe Space and Prison Outreach.
