This month’s featured artists are mother-and-son duo Allison and Nathan Redies, both painters whose work is featured in the current SAS Members’ Show.
Allison Redies is a South Surrey artist and art educator. She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts and Masters’ work at the University of Victoria. Specializing in vibrant florals, local landscapes, and abstract art, her work evokes a sense of wonder, joy, and delight in the natural world. Nathan Redies is an emerging artist currently studying Visual Arts at the University of Fraser Valley, specializing in drawing, painting, and graphic design. His practice focuses on abstract portraits, still lifes, and landscapes, often creating puzzles by deconstructing objects and reassembling them into new forms.ng-time participant in local Plein Air competitions alongside her son Nathan, she is excited to co-exhibit with him once again in this year's Member’s Exhibit.
