In Memory of Adalbert Shlesinger

The Club is saddened to learn of the passing of Adalbert Shlesinger, who was an active member in the early to late '90s. Adalbert played at several of the local clubs and was a Class A player. In Quick rating, he hit 2000+. Adalbert was living in Florida at the time of his death earlier this month. A quick review of his tournament record finds a 1st place finish in the 1993 Nassau Action Championship, a 2nd place tie in the 1993 Amateur Championship, and a 3rd place tie in the 1996 Nassau Championship, all in the booster sections. Our condolences to his family in this difficult time.
