These are the first of hopefully many silver cab settings made by our members. A two night course of three hours each. These still need polishing but the learning of how to get to this point from our instructor Michele was awesome. Highly recommend the course. The year is almost over for the club till we start up again in September where Michele will put on another course probably in October sometime. There is a four person limit so get your name in soon.

What an amazing night at the Surrey Rockhound Club auction last night!🎉

A HUGE thank you to all the volunteers who helped with setup and cleanup — we seriously couldn’t have done it without you. From moving tables and organizing treasures to staying and helping everything get packed away, you all made the night run so smoothly.

A HUGE Thank you to our ALL our club member’s as well who acted as our auctioneers! You all did a fantastic job!

Big thanks as well to everyone who brought snacks and everyone who donated items for the auction, and MOST ESPECIALLY to everyone who came out, bid, laughed, and made the event so much fun.

The room was full of energy, great conversations, friendly bidding wars, and lots of laughs all night long. It was so great seeing everyone together enjoying the hobby and supporting the club.

And most importantly… thank you all for saving the sterling silver from being smelted 😂

You all again next year!!!🥳

A good time was had by all. The first ever Search and Find happened today in Cloverdale. Five teams battled hard to complete the tasks set in front of them. There were clues that were missed and some that were easy. The participation prize was a BBQ burger, chips and salads. The winning team of Gord and Fred received a Purdies box of chocolates which was subsequently shared among all present. It is suggested we could do another one before the fall BBQ in August.

🪨✨ It’s Auction Time! Join Us for the Surrey Rockhound Club Annual Rock Auction! ✨🪨

Calling all rock lovers, treasure hunters, gem enthusiasts, and our fellow rock clubs — come spend an evening with us and discover some amazing finds!

We’d love to see members from all neighboring rock and gem clubs — bring your friends, bring your bidding paddle, and let’s make it a fun night celebrating our shared love of all things rock! ⛏️

The Surrey Rockhound Club's Christmas party was a huge success, with a delicious turkey potluck dinner that included a secret family recipe stuffing and an impressive array of desserts.

The Secret Santa gift exchange yielded a stunning faceted ruby, which everyone wanted to take home. The evening's festivities also included an ugly sweater contest, where attendees voted for their favorite and most creative sweaters.
