Tomorrow is the big day!! We can’t wait to see all your spooky and smiling faces. Here is some important information to keep in mind about the event:

1. COSTUMES
Costumes are welcome at the event, but not at school during the day. Please remember to keep your fake weapons at home.

2. TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE
We will be selling tickets at the door for $7 (cash only). Remember, parents and kids ages 4 and under are free.

3. CASH CONCESSION
Prices range from $1 to $3. Items include Gatorade, sparking ICE, juice boxes, water, aero, mars, smarties, skittles, candy cups, ring pops, chips, and popcorn.

4. SILENT AUCTION
We’re hosting an online silent auction to help raise money for Grade 7 Farewell/Celebrations. Bidding opens at 7:00am tomorrow (Thursday, Oct 22) and closes at 7:45pm the same day.

This is an online auction, so you can participate even if you’re not attending the Monster Mash. If you are attending, you’ll also have the chance to view all the auction items in person at the event.

Winning bids can be paid for online by credit card, and items picked up at the Monster Mash or from the office by October 30. Don’t miss your chance to bid on some great items and support a great cause!

5. VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED
We still have a few volunteer shifts that need to be filled. Most volunteer shifts are only 30 minutes, so you can still enjoy the event with your family. Please pitch in if you can!

Friendly reminder to place your orders for hot lunch by TOMORROW at midnight! Lunches will be delivered on Friday, October 30th.

PLEASE NOTE: If you did not receive a confirmation email, then your order did not go through. You should also receive a reminder email the day before hot lunch. If you do not receive either of those, then you have not ordered and will need to send your child with a packed lunch. Unfortunately we do not order extras.

Just a reminder that Grade 7 Grad Wear ordering closes on Monday!

MONSTER MASH TICKETS ON SALE NOW!

Hillcrest's Spooktacular Halloween event is back! Join us for the Monster Mash party on Thursday, October 22 from 6:00-8:00pm. There will be dancing, games, concession, a silent auction and a costume contest!

"Pre-sale" admission for students aged 5 and up is $5. Parents and kids aged 4 and under are free. Wristband pre-sales will close on Monday, October 19.

Admission at the door is $7 (cash only).

Our Community Values coupon book fundraiser is closed. All books have now been delivered, so please double check your orders. If you have any issues, please email [email protected]

Please remember that any unsold books must be returned to your child's teacher as soon as possible. We are still missing quite a few and would like to avoid our PAC having to absorb the cost of those missing books.

Mark your calendars!

Next Wednesday (October 14) is our monthly PAC meeting. Discussion topics will include our playground fundraiser, as well as Monster Mash.

All parents or guardians of kids at Hillcrest are welcome to join. Zoom meeting details can be found on the Hillcrest PAC website (link in bio). Hope to see you there!

The Community Values Coupon Book Fundraiser has CLOSED!

We are still missing a lot of books, so if you have not paid for yours please send it with your child TOMORROW. We have a lot of outstanding orders awaiting fulfillment and we cannot process them until we've received all unpaid books back.

We are having another bike bus ride on Thursday!

A few important reminders:
1. You MUST REGISTER for this event. See link below.
1. This is a BIKE ONLY event. No scooters are allowed.
2. Helmets are MANDATORY for all riders, including parents.
3. You must be able to ride the route independently and on two wheels only. Training wheels are not permitted.

Just a reminder that the Community Values Fundraiser closes on Monday, so please submit final payments on MunchaLunch or send unpurchased books back.

We are still missing over 30 books and cannot fulfill all our orders until they have been returned. Students who have not returned their unpurchased books will receive a notice next week requested payment for the book.

Please be patient as we sort through all remaining orders. Any books purchased that have not yet been received will be sent home with your children as soon as we are able to fulfill them.
