We were proud to be part of the first BC Walk & Roll Accessibility Parade & Community Festival in Surrey! 👟♿

RunSurreyRun Founder Gurjinder K Bhurji had the opportunity to connect with community leaders, including the The Mayor of Surrey, BC and Canada’s Accessibility Officer , while celebrating accessibility, inclusion, and a barrier-free future.

Thank you to Equal Access Collective for bringing the community together. We’re excited to continue the conversation and work with EAC to help ensure the 2026 RunSurreyRun route is accessible to all. 💙

🤠🎉 We’re heading to the Cloverdale Rodeo Parade on May 16! 🎉🤠

If you’re coming out for one of Surrey’s biggest community events, keep an eye out for the RunSurreyRun crew in the parade! 👀🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Our amazing volunteers will be carrying the RunSurreyRun banner and handing out stickers, swag, and race info along the route. Be sure to wave, say hi, and grab some goodies!

Discover Surrey City of Surrey RBC Central City

Cloverdale is going full rodeo mode this weekend. 🤠

The 78th annual Cloverdale Rodeo Parade rolls through Surrey on Saturday, May 16, bringing floats, marching bands, vintage cars, local businesses, and more than 1,000 participants into the historic town centre.

Anyone heading into the area should expect delays, and access to the town centre will be on foot only during the event. The parade helps kick off one of B.C.’s biggest western weekends, with the Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair running from May 14 to 17.
