THREE YEARS OF FREE ACCESS. THREE YEARS OF SISTERHOOD. AND A COMMUNITY WE REFUSE TO GIVE UP ON! 💞

For the past three years, The Safe Haven Conference has been completely FREE, made possible through the generosity of our community partners, sponsors, and grant funding.

This year, things have been different.
Some of our funding was cut, and some of our incredible partners didn't have the capacity to support us financially this time.

And yes, it has been challenging.

But one thing we know for sure is this: The Safe Haven Conference is too important a space to let go of.

We have seen the connections formed, the friendships built, the tears shared, the healing, the laughter, and the beautiful moments when women realize they are not alone.

We have witnessed what happens when immigrant women find a room where they can simply BELONG.
And we are not ready to give that up. Not for ourselves, not for our sisters, and certainly not for the community we have built together.

So, this year...
For the first time, The Safe Haven Conference comes with a registration fee, and we have worked to keep it as accessible as possible.

Seven days to the 5th edition of our Culinary Healing with Seniors program sponsored by .gc
We are very grateful for the opportunity to create this space for our immigrant seniors to connect, network, share stories from their country of origin, and also share meals.

In October, we would have our Indigenous elders bless us with a special meal.
